Sessions

Saving Grace is an introductory session plus six sessions. Based on Wesleyan values, each session provides participants with the text and tools needed to address the topics of saving, earning, and giving. Saving Grace, or one of the approved financial courses listed below, is required for the UMF Clergy Loan Program recipients. We are pleased to offer this online course to clergy for free. Space is limited.

CLERGY WORKBOOK

Includes three additional clergy sections, which address financial issues unique to pastors, bringing together faith and vocation while attending to the unique financial details of living as a pastor and being employed by the church. Contains worksheets and downloadable planners.

40-DAY DEVOTIONAL

The 40-day devotional offers spiritual support for a new approach to financial health. The short devotional essays bring reassurance, encouragement, faith, and prayer to complement the work of finding strength in faith to make life changes.

Please note: UMF offers Saving Grace TWICE a year – August and January. All sessions are held online. Participants are responsible to purchase their workbook or the complete leader’s kit.
